Duties include:
Define, create a common language around, and teach positive social expectations
Produce a Teaching Matrix that includes Expectations (vertical) along with Areas of the School (horizontal)
Create and implement a system of Feedback & Positive Acknowledgments for students
Create a system/visual of Teacher or Staff managed behaviors (minors) and Office managed behaviors (majors)
Use data to make informed decisions
Respond to behavior events
Communicate with families
Communicate with families, teachers & staff in a timely manner about individual behavior events
Share and model effective interventions (behavior & academic)
Work collaboratively with staff and administration to ensure that the building is supervised, safe, and secure
Create and assign RAD (reactive attachment disorder) learning work for students to complete in response to behavior events
Other duties of a similar nature or level

Job Duties:  Supervises staff to included: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures, and maintains a healthy and safe working environment; and making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
Oversees the day-to day operations of the school and prioritizes the needs and maintenance of the School.
Coordinates activities of the school through various committees, teams and external stakeholders.
Administers and monitors the Elementary School budget including allocating resources and approving expenditures.
Implements School objectives and goals as directed by the Board and Superintendent.
Oversees and coordinates the student disciplinary process which includes attendance, tardies, chemical violations, in-school suspensions, suspensions and expulsions.
Facilitates meetings to develop and discuss Elementary School programs, curriculums, budgets, staffing and other matters related to the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the Elementary School.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS/SCHOOL BOARD AND DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION

The person in this position assists the Superintendent, School Board, and Director of Special Education with all correspondence, state and federal reporting, management of nonresident student tuition, student expulsion procedures, etc. The position also requires attendance at all regular and special School Board meetings to record minutes as well as prepare, organize, distribute School Board meeting agenda packets, minutes and reports. This person also oversees the development, adoption and implementation of School Board Policies. This person collects and submits Restrictive Procedure data to the Minnesota Department of Education’s Division of Assistance and Compliance.

Job Description: Full-time (1.0 FTE) Secondary Vocal Music Director, 2 hours of lessons and 3 choirs, Falcon, Treble, and Concert .  Concert Choir will include participation of Big 9 Conference Festival.  This position commences with the 2022-2023 school year on August 22, 2022.
