HIGH SCHOOL

1.0 FTE – DCD Special Ed Teacher- Long-term sub (1/3/2022 – 3/14/2022)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a licensed Special Education teacher with the State of Minnesota, requires DCD licensure.

Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.

Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.

Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.

Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

WAGES:

Consistent with the current Teachers’ Master Agreement.

This person maintains two-way communication with stakeholders using a wide range of communication tools in order to promote a positive District reputation and image, and advises the Superintendent, School Board and District administrators on matters affecting community relations. The ideal candidate will be a team player who provides both strategic and tactical communications expertise and is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. Weekly schedules may vary and be flexible depending on both the needs of the district and of the communications specialist.
