JOB GOAL:
Responsible for developing and implementing curriculum with staff; acting as a resource person to classroom teachers to implement best practice curriculum and assessment; working with administrators to support and implement the curriculum; conducting an annual evaluation of the curriculum and coordinating the curriculum with other programs and other support services within the school district.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Directly support Teaching and Learning in the organization, development and delivery of curriculum-focused professional development.
2. Assist Teaching and Learning in the goal setting and evaluation of K-12 district program.
3. Work with Teaching and Learning to ensure successful completion of all phases of the curriculum cycle.
4. Support Teaching and Learning in establishing a long-term professional development plan for core curriculum implementation.
5. Act as resource person to district teachers on implementation of curriculum.
6. Monitor curriculum alignment to standards, Graduate Learner Outcomes and S.M.A.R.T. goals.
7. Collaborate with Instructional Coaches and Technology Integration Coaches to support teachers in implementing effective strategies for differentiating curriculum.
8. Interpret student assessment data for the continuous improvement of programs and services.
9. Reinforce common language and consistent instructional framework at all sites.
10. Assist with the collection and analysis of data required in planning and evaluation of curricular programs.
11. Facilitate probationary teacher curriculum training.
12. Work collaboratively with the Student Services Psychologist/Teacher on Special Assignment and Instructional Coaches.
13. Serve as a resource person for school board, administration, staff and parents.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal/Teaching and Learning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. WI Department of Public Instruction Secondary Teacher license.
2. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience required.
3. Master’s degree in education required.

This work regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing and occasionally requires pushing, pulling, lifting, and operating machines; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, and observing general surroundings and activities; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. school offices/classrooms/passageways).
