ABOUT THE COMMUNITY/SCHOOL DISTRICT:

The Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Schools’ main office is in Clinton, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 355 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Schools School Board seeks a superintendent who:

  • Is a “people person” with proven abilities in human relations and communications
  • Acts with honesty and in an ethical manner with the School Board, staff, and community
  • Is visible and accessible to the School Board, staff, students, parents, and community
  • Delegates authority while maintaining accountability
  • Has knowledge of and experience with negotiations and the collective bargaining process
  • Holds experience in school district management practices
  • Works cooperatively with the School Board; provides options and recommendations

Previous superintendent experience preferred but not required.

SALARY/CONTRACT: The current superintendent’s base salary for the 2020-21 school year is $109,000.  The final salary will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) TEACHER

Elementary Principal

Equity and Inclusion Coordinator

➢ Works with principals to develop a positive building climate that leads to educational equity and student achievement for all students.

➢ Establishes and develops strong community relationships to provide our students and families with community resources.

➢ Serves as the district representative for parent and student advisory committees as deemed appropriate and assigned.

➢ Assists in mediating conflict regarding intercultural differences.

➢ Attends training sessions, conferences, seminars, department and district meetings.

➢ Serves on District committees, task forces, work groups, etc. as requested.

➢ Keeps abreast of changing developments, trends, instructional and educational technologies. ➢ Represents the District at local, regional and state meetings, as assigned.

➢ Assists in providing leadership in data driven decision making to improve each student group’s academic performance.

➢ Supervises and provides direction to district Cultural Liaisons.

➢ Other duties as assigned.
