Position Summary:

Join a robust music program in ISD 761 that has a long history of excellence! This position is to provide orchestra lessons at the four elementary schools for students in grades 4-5. Responsibilities include building a lesson schedule following school schedules during approved timeslots; collaboration with building principals, coaches, and the Director of Teaching and Learning is part of this work. In addition to developing beginning orchestra students, this position will conduct orchestra concerts twice a year. This position also entails managing the recruitment of future orchestra students.

– Valid MN Classroom Music and Orchestra Teaching licenses.

– Demonstrated use of research-based instructional and engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions.

Based on candidates’ education and experience per the OEA Master Agreement.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher

Description:  Elementary Resource Manager

Job Summary:  To provide in-depth support to the principal and staff of the elementary school through management of district provided resources and facilities and equipment under the direction of the principal.

Qualifications:
a)  Monitor and implement requests for all community school and extra-curricular requests requiring building facilities and/or equipment.  Schedule rooms/facilities and notify appropriate source of any equipment or special work arrangements necessary.

b) Maintain an accounting system for all building funds, accounts and monies.  Process purchase orders, keep ledger up-to-date, report monthly balances.

c)  Implement paraprofessional schedules.

d) Keep physical asset inventory and process repair requests.

e)  Communicate transportation needs to Transportation Department; follow district policy for student disciplining problems.

f)  Order and disburse supplies and materials as needed.

g)  Schedule and monitor health and safety problems.

h)  Verify paraprofessional hours, code rate of pay, date and forward to principal for signature.

 

Education:  High school graduate or equivalent.

 

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

1)     Extensive skills in developing and maintaining record systems.

2)     Knowledge of UFARS budgeting and coding system.

3)     Knowledge of district policies as they affect the general operation of the building.

4)     Human relation strengths including helping, serving, and exchanging of information.

Summer Employment: Kidstop

Summer Kidstop is a choice-based, high quality and enriching school-age care program for students in Kindergarten through fifth grade.

Camp Dates (20 total days)
– June 29-July 2 (Mon-Thu)
– July 6-9 (Mon-Thu)
– July 13-16 (Mon-Thu)
– July 20-23 (Mon-Thu)
– July 27-30 (Mon-Thu)

Must commit to the full program in order to be considered for employment.

Sites & Hours
– Sites will be EC, GC and ZW. Your site placement will be determined at a later date.
– Program hours are: 8:15 am-2:45 pm or 9:15 am-3:45 pm depending on site and bussing.
– Classroom ESP hours are:8 am-3 pm or 9 am-4 pm
*Times could change based on final bus routes and other summer program needs.

Pay: Varies on position

Required Meetings
– New staff training held via Google Meet from 4:30-6 pm (date TBD)
– All summer staff meeting/camp set-up and open house – Wed, June 24, 2026 from 8 am-5 pm.

Timeline
– Staffing decisions will be made by May at the latest. Staffing depends on final student enrollment numbers.
