capacity to provide intervention for students with social and behavioral concerns. Primary duties include implementing behavior interventions, working in partnership with the teacher to provide behavioral support in the classroom setting, and behavioral data collection.

Position Purpose: To enhance the educational process by minimizing or removing health-related barriers to learning, while promoting a safe environment for all students and staff. Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional nurse practice, district/state board of education policies and procedures and Minnesota State law regarding nurse practice.To provide first aid, hearing and vision screening, immunization tracking, monitoring for communicable diseases and managing students with chronic health conditions and special education needs.
Qualifications/Licensure: Current MN Registered Nurse. CPR/AED certification. Bachelors in Nursing required. Woodland Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Long Term Substitute 2nd Grade Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young students, encouraging academic, social, and emotional growth and will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state and national standards while fostering creativity and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities:

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:
Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. This includes:
Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans
Teaching students on a variety of classroom topics/courses
Building positive relationships
Assigning reasonable tasks and homework

For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as create, administer, and grade tests and assignments
Substitute Paraprofessional Responsibilities:
Provide classroom assistance to the district/school teacher and support to the general education or special needs students.
Ensure adequate supervision of students and classroom environment to assure health, welfare, and safety of students.
Assist students in transition to and from classrooms, as needed
Understand, address, and be attuned to the needs of each student, recognizing differences in their abilities and cognitive levels
Minimum requirements:
HS Diploma/GED
Substitute Teacher – Bachelor’s degree with MN Teaching or Substitute License
Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language fluently and effectively
No experience necessary; we provide training! Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
