Speech and Language Pathologist

Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Speech & Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language therapy services directly to qualifying students based upon state and federal requirements in the areas of language, articulation, fluency and voice.  Conducts speech and language assessments of student needs; interprets informal and standardized communicative measures; and participates in the development of individualized educational plans for students with eligible communicative needs.

Occupational Therapist

Under the direction of the building Principal with guidance from Director of Student Services, the Occupational Therapist provides direct occupational therapy services to students (birth through age twenty-one) and consultation services to employees and parents.  The Occupational Therapist assesses students with various physical, neurological, sensory and perceptual impairments to determine their functional skills within their educational placement.  The OT is responsible for developing, implementing, and/or monitoring therapeutic programs and providing consultation to school staff and parents to maximize student skills.

Special Education Teacher (multiple positions)

Location: Position will be primarily at Aspen Ridge Elementary School and will also support other program locations as needed.

General Purpose of Job: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by providing leadership, direct supervision and support in the program areas including program planning, prioritizing, organizing, and carrying out a diversified workload.

Description:  The Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing leadership and support within the Community Education department. Responsible for overseeing program operations at a location, staff management, and addressing the needs of students, parents/guardians, and staff.  The Site Supervisor ensures the delivery of high-quality educational services. This position involves strategic planning, performance leadership, program content development, professionalism, and other related duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Indicators of Strategic Leadership:

Aligning functions with the organization’s mission and core values.
Participating in district and department initiatives, including training and committees.
Developing and communicating a shared vision for areas of responsibility.
Planning and executing continuous improvement processes.
Serving as the primary point of contact for parents/guardians and staff, ensuring timely communication and confidentiality.
Indicators Performance Leadership:

Leading professional development and supporting staff training and coaching.
Facilitating open communication and collaboration with school & community education contacts.
Coordinating the hiring of direct reports and providing supervision.
Managing department resources effectively and efficiently.
Providing feedback and strategies to support high-quality services.
Ensuring compliance with policies, rules, and regulations.
Indicators of High-Quality Program Content:

Collaborating with lead instructors to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Supporting students with diverse needs and modifying programs accordingly.
Conducting staff meetings, providing training, and supporting daily on-site operations.
Developing engaging and enriching programming sessions in collaboration with program staff, including indoor and outdoor environments.
Monitoring daily lessons and adapting activities to meet students’ needs in all program.
Indicators of Professionalism:

Making daily decisions related to site operations and staff management.
Seeking personal and professional growth opportunities.
Acting as a bridge between program areas and lead instructors/program managers.
Creating a positive, growth mindset culture on-site.
Demonstrating trustworthiness, adaptability, and flexibility.
Additional duties/responsibilities:

Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in education or related field.
Align with Minn. Stat. 245H.08, subd. 2. with at least one-year previous experience in childcare recreation, education, or youth development.
Preferred Qualifications:

Considerable knowledge of instructional methods, racial equity, and multicultural curriculum concepts.
Preferred knowledge of computer applications such as GSuite (google drive, sheets) Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook), Eleyo.
Familiarity with various instructional methods, best practices, and strategies.
Prior customer service and technology experience preferred.
Supervisor experience preferred

Fostering collaborative partnerships through effective communication and feedback.
Exhibit traits such as active listening, problem-solving, and confidence in presenting information.

Proficient in facilitating meetings and discussions, effectively applying strategies and collaborate positively with all stakeholders
Demonstrating strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. (train, speak, and facilitate meetings)
Job Type:  Exempt, Full-Time, full-year, 12 month position 225 duty days.Typical preferred core hours 8:00-4:30pm.   There will be hours worked outside these typical preferred hours.

Bargaining Unit:  Management Personnel I-M  (Supervisor)

Salary Range:  Per Contract, current salary range is $67,825 – $84,358
