POSITION SUMMARY:

Develop and provide Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) programming for students in grades 5-12, based on students’ Individual Educational Plans (IEPs), at Westwood School, for 16 days.

communicate with parents;
establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere;
create communication systems and daily schedules;
create successful functional and social lessons, based on student IEP goals;
create academic lessons, using visual strategies, based on student IEP goals; and
analyze weekly data to write end of program progress reports.
