Hiawatha Valley Education District is seeking a talented and qualified Occupational Therapist to meet the student needs.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

Licensure with Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy

Valid Driver’s License

EXPERIENCE:

Experience working as an OTR strongly preferred

Experience working in an education or school setting strongly preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in standard school building environments and offices.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travels between member districts and professional meetings is required.

Work Based Learning Teacher

by

Provides support to allow special education students opportunities to learn skills while working on the job.  Work with member school districts to complete work-based learning applications.  Work with member districts to develop a curriculum to integrate classroom faculty, and employers regarding administrative and operating requirements for the cooperative education program.

Special Education Teacher

by

Evaluate developmental skills, plan and implement program services which assist identified students in improving those skills by following district, state and federal guidelines.  Responsible for assessment, educational planning, instruction, consultation and case management.
