Job Description:

We are seeking a bilingual teacher (English and Spanish) for our Spanish immersion preschool. The preschool educator will build and maintain a program that develops the whole child, sparks imagination, builds self-esteem, fosters learning through play, develops an attitude of service, nurtures bilingualism and helps children discover new things each day.

Additional information:

Language Arts Teacher

This position is the sole language arts position at the ALC. The teacher is responsible for teaching English 9, English 10, English 11 and English 12. The teacher is also responsible for monitoring the progress of students who choose to pursue their credit through Odysseyware online curriculum. A strong background in reading strategies is desired. The applicant should be adept at differentiation of content and instruction in order to include student voice and choice. A strong sense of equity and the ability to build relationships is essential.
