1.0 FTE On-going position beginning the 2019-2020 school year.

Minnesota licensure in mathematics is required.  Dual licensure in special education is preferred.

Background Information: Village Ranch Alternative Program (VRAP) is located in Cokato, MN and is an educational facility on the grounds of the Village Ranch, Inc. group home.  This program serves males in grades 5 -12.  Village Ranch Alternative Program is part of the Meeker & Wright Special Education Cooperative (MAWSECO) #0938-52.  The MAWSECO central office is located in Howard Lake, MN which is west of the metro and south of St. Cloud.

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to…creating and delivering ability and age appropriate lessons in a setting 1 & 2 classroom;
leading a team of paraprofessionals in meeting students’ needs;
communicating with parents to provide regular updates on student successes and challenges;
collaborating with principals, special education coordinator and staff, and professional learning communities, to ensure student needs are being met;
maintain student records of services provided, following Due Process best practices and compliance;
acting as a Case Manager for students in your classroom and participate in IEP and evaluation summary meetings; and perform other related duties, as assigned.

Girls JV Soccer Coach – #4156

Duties:  Assist the varsity head coach with all aspects of the Spring Lake Park Girls Soccer Program including but not limited to setting up practices, games, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and games.; care and maintenance of program equipment; arranging team transportation; working with booster club and regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall  program.  Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and games.
