One Act Play Director
Lewiston Altura is seeking a director for the one-act competition that takes place at the end of January. Duties include: Picking a one act play (no longer than 35 min), completing paperwork for the competition, creating a set with students, running rehearsals with students 5 days a week (about an hour per rehearsal), and attending the competitions at the end of January with them (Saturdays). There is a minimum of three performances (two competitive, one local public performance), with a potential of two more competitions and the opportunity to go to state. A paid assistant director will also help you reach these goals. Rehearsals run December 1st thru the end of competition (usually the end of January).
