A full-time, (1.00 FTEs) position as a Media Specialist – Elementary is available for the 2019-20 school year. MN licensure in Media Specialist is required. Job Description attached.
Summary of Duties: The certified media specialist implements a series of decisions based on the numerous principles of learning which when practiced should increase the probability that learning will take place. The media specialist develops and conducts classroom instruction, evaluates and assesses instructional materials and student progress. The media specialist may develop and supervise co-curricular activities.

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment: Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA). (contract currently under negotiations)

ISPD Educational Consultant
CESA #11, located in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, has a vacancy for an educational consultant position in the area of Assessment, Curriculum and Instruction. The consultant will provide regional support and district consultation within the Instructional Support and Development (ISPD) services at CESA #11.
Leadership experience and evidence of collaboration skills are essential as this position works with other CESA #11 programs and the Department of Public Instruction on topics of shared concern (e.g.Curriculum Development, State and Local Assessments, Educator Effectiveness, and Student/School Learning Objectives). A background in K-12 curriculum, strategic planning, grant management, data analysis, and group facilitation is preferred as a portion of this position will be working with various aspects of school improvement services.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of recent teaching experience, hold a masters degree in education and hold, or have the ability to gain, the Wisconsin DPI issued Curriculum Coordinators license.
This is a professional staff position that has a minimum 190 day annual contract with a base salary of $70,000 with consideration of contract days and experience. Travel is required for this position within the CESA #11 region and statewide.
