Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Elementary Education 1-5

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Days/Hours: 260 days; 8 hrs/day, 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Banded/Graded:  B-2-2
Salary:  $23.99/hr

Responsible To:  Facilities Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, Director of Buildings & Grounds, Building Principal
Position Purpose:  Planning, managing, and supervising grounds staff in implementing twelve month plan for district wide grounds and athletic fields maintenance and projects.  Performs snow removal district wide.

Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks:  See website
Qualifications:  Knowledge and significant experience in grounds and athletic field maintenance; snow removal knowledge and experience.  Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Lift 70 lbs waist height occasionally
Lift 50 lbs to chest high regularly
Extended walking
Ability to work with pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals
Must be in good general health
Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Eligible for benefits as negotiated with Union Local 70 and District 112.  This position is eligible for overtime and comp time. Starting salary for such position is $23.99/hour. In addition, the pay includes an additional $0.10/hr for each level of boilers license when licenses are obtained.
