The New London-Spicer Public Schools is seeking candidates for the full time position of Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will begin work on or around July 1, 2019 and will receive a competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with experience and qualifications. School District Information:
- The New London-Spicer Schools serves nearly 1,550 k-12 students. In addition, children, families, and other district residents are served through early childhood and community education programs. Educational and support programs are delivered in three school buildings: Prairie Meadows (Pre-K, ECFE/ECSE, School Readiness) in Spicer, Prairie Woods Elementary (K-4) in New London, and the New London-Spicer High School (9-12) and Middle School (5-8) in New London.
- The district employs 230 licensed and non-licensed staff members. The superintendent is supported by one elementary principal, one middle school principal and one high school principal. In addition, a Communications Director, a Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, and a Community Education Director/Activities Director report to the superintendent. Financial support is provided by a payroll/finance specialist and part-time business manager. Support is also provided by an Administrative Assistant.
- The district is proud of a comprehensive program of studies and supports a strong fine arts program. The elementary school has incorporated a PK-4 grade comprehensive program. The middle school activity curriculum includes: Art, Physical Education, Health, Music, and Technology. The high school offers college credit experiences, advanced placement courses, and comprehensive career education programs, including robotics. Technology is embedded throughout the school programs.

University Supervisors, MA in Special Education – Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota
Position Responsibilities
Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Minneapolis seeks applicants for supervisor positions in our Graduate School of Education programs of Special Education. The University seeks qualified teachers, administrators, program directors, coordinators, and other educators to supervise our graduate students seeking licensure in the following licensure fields: Special Education (EBD, LD, ASD).
Students from throughout the state of Minnesota complete coursework and practicum placements during the academic year as well as in the summer months. Supervisors will be working with students during their practicum placements and/or student teaching as needed.
The positions have a flexible schedule where assignments are coordinated with the supervisor’s schedule and availability. Field experience placements are year-round and across Minnesota. We are seeking supervisors in the Twin Cities metro area, along with Marshall, Mankato, Fairmont, Duluth, Rochester, Alexandria, and outstate.

Pool Support
Description:
Pool Support – West Junior High. 7:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. Approximate assignment dates are November 30, 2018 through March 28, 2019.
Job Summary:
Assist licensed teacher with supervising students in the pool area.
Qualifications:
Position requires a H.S. diploma.
Life Guard Certificate Required
First Aid/CPR/AED Required
Working Conditions:
Pool, classroom, office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, keyboarding, etc.
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
