This position is Monday-Friday. The hours are approximately 12:00-6:00pm daily
Role: To work in partnership with grade level teachers, developing plans and implementing programs to meet the needs of individual learners, and provide flexibility within the learning environment
To provide additional supervision across the Lower School
Assist in preparation of lessons per teacher request
Assist in day-to-day classroom operations
Supervise preschool lunch, recess, and rest-time
Lead Preschool Extended Day Program
During school breaks, there are also opportunities to work 4 to 6 hour shifts.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Collaborative work in a fast-paced environment interacting with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community with multiple requests and concerns.
2. Support and communicate with other administrators and staff.
3. Respond in emergency situations.
4. Know, interpret, and follow school District policies.
5. May plan and coordinate the work of paraprofessionals and volunteers in the classroom and on field trips.
6. May provide input to the goal-setting process for paraprofessionals.

1. Demonstrated successful experience in an immersion program preferred.
2. Demonstrated ability to apply appropriate skills in performing daily routines.
3. Demonstrated ability to operate a computer, software and necessary classroom technology.

Work with students in small groups on the process of writing in all subject areas, study skills and other aspects of college preparation.
