School Counselor
Intervene in situations where behavioral and social barriers interfere with a student’s ability to attain his/her educational potential. Collaboration with school personnel and community agencies, identify and develops resources with the school system and / or the community for all students in the River Bend schools.
Non-Administrative Special Education Coordinator
The Non-administrative Special Education Coordinator is a part-time special education teacher in the ALC and part-time special education coordinator to support districts schools.
Raptor Teacher
POSITION TITLE: Teacher of the Raptor Program (ASD teacher preferred)
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education Coordinator of Special Education
BASIC FUNCTION: Provides instruction and behavioral interventions for student(s) in the River Bend Raptor Program.
Occupational Therapist (3 days/week)
River Bend Education District has an opening for a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to begin August 2018. This is a three day a week position. This position provides diagnostic assessment, program planning, and consultation and direct services to children within member school districts who are eligible for special education and experience adaptive, sensory, and motor or developmental delays.
Elementary Classroom Teacher – 3rd Grade
Essential Functions: A full-time (1.0 FTE) Third Grade Teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our elementary school, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. Our district educational positions qualify for federal loan forgiveness program. This position commences with the 2018-19 school year on August 27, 2018.
