Attends meetings that include parents, educators, County personnel, etc. Consults with regular and special education personnel on programming for students with disabilities; ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines. Participates in pre-referral activities including attending Student Assistant Team meetings, gathering and interpreting data, developing pre-referral interventions and assisting in intervention implementation. Finance Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate annual school district audit and assist with budget, manage District cash flow and investments, assist with daily operational work direction of finance staff. Assist with assuring fiscal responsibility obligations of District are met with a focus on customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 79% Financial Management Under direction of Director of Finance and Operations, develop, monitor, and analyze budget and communicate with principals and directors; establish detail of codes for expenditures and revenues Under direction of Director of Finance and Operations, coordinate daily operational work direction with finance staff to assure accuracy of general ledger accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with implementation and maintenance of financial controls and procedures Manage revenue received by District, allocate taxes and other receipts to proper funds and revenue accounts Verify and monitor grant revenue expenditures; provide analysis and guidance to ensure compliance Review and verify treasurer report prior to submission Assist with federal and state reporting obligations including reconciling Electronic Data Reporting System (EDRS), State Educations Record View and Submission (SERVS) and Uniform Financial Accounting and Reporting System (UFARS) Prepare payroll and sales tax returns, transfers and payments, oversee bank reconciliation Monitor and prepare cash flow statements and disbursements Make recommendations regarding fund investment and reconciliation 20% Audit Coordinate and assist with annual audit processes Assist with ensuring procedural changes recommended by auditors are put into effect Perform internal audits for necessary departments and outside agencies to ensure proper internal controls are in place 1% Professional Development Attend in-service trainings as required
