Onamia Public Schools is seeking applicants for a Full Time (1.0 FTE) FACS Teacher at Onamia Secondary School for the 2016-2017 school year to teach in our state of the art FACS facility. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in implementing researched-based instructional strategies, successfully working with diverse populations, and technology integration. Candidates should also be creative and have both good communication and problem-solving skills. The Onamia School District has roughly 680 students and is located just one and a half hours north of Minneapolis on the beautiful Lake Mille Lacs. The School Board, Administration, Staff and Community are highly supportive of creating a thriving Family and Consumer Science Program for our students. The Onamia School District qualifies for student loan reduction/forgiveness programs.
