K – 6 Elementary Spanish Immersion – Reserve Teacher
International Spanish Language Academy, ISLA is an IB Spanish Immersion K-6 school located in Minnetonka MN. It’s current enrollment is around 330 students. Mission: ISLA, a K-6 Spanish immersion community, empowers the whole child by nurturing the development of personal growth, strong character, academic excellence, and global vision. ISLA is seeking substittute teachers. These are on going opportunities. Substitute teachers must be willing to work on a day-to-day or long-term basis, and be willing to be called late at night or early in the morning for a job that same day. Substitute teachers will follow lesson plans set by the regular classroom teacher and will use techniques consistent with school philosophy to maintain a productive learning environment. Elementary Teacher – Third Grade
Essential Functions: A full-time (1.0 FTE) Third Grade Teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our elementary school, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. This position commences with the 2017-18 school year on August 28, 2017.
Extended Day Assistant
Mounds Park Academy is a PreK-12 independent school in Saint Paul that serves approximately 500 students from throughout the Twin Cities area. Grades K-8 Extended Day Assistant: This is a part time (12 month) position working with students in K-Grade 8 after school, on school release days, and during the summer. The ideal candidate should be able to work as part of a team, supervise and work well with students, and effectively communicate with parents. In addition, this candidate should also have the ability to plan and implement interactive activities for children The candidate must be committed to the MPA philosophy. Assistant Director of Special Education/Student Services
-Assists in all aspects of Student Services to ensure effective delivery of services to students in accordance with District policies and procedures. Participates in various District and State meetings and committees in order to facilitate optimum planning and coordination of programs, services and activities. -Identifies and communicates present levels of performance, future needs, and areas of improvement of Student Service programs in order to develop and implement program improvements and to address student, parent, and staff concerns. -Assists in making decisions and recommendations related to human resource functions including hiring, supervision, staff development, performance management, training and related activities. -Assists in developing and recommending budget requirements and monitors and authorizes budget expenditures for Student Services programs. -Assists in developing and maintaining procedures that ensure compliance of District policy and practice with State and Federal regulations. -Performs related duties as apparent or assigned by the Executive Director of Student Services. -Provides consultation and collaboration with district building -administration regarding Student Services. -Participates in District and inter-agency meetings/committees to ensure special education input into planning and coordination of programs, services and activities.
