Duties include: (but not limited to) *Promotes academic excellence in a nurturing environment by providing support, with continuous and measurable improvements, to advance staff performance and student achievement. *Collaborates with Principals and Director of Schools to develop a curricular vision for the district that promotes the mission, vision and goals of RCS. *Develops, implements, and evaluates curriculum for PreSchool-Grade 12 courses, including organizing curriculum for summer school programs. Recommends course additions, grade placements, and verifies graduation requirements. *Provides insights about student skill progression and key contributions made by staff at each level through classroom observation and monitoring instruction for the purpose of gathering data to improve the curriculum and efficacy of instructional interventions. *Participates in collaborative planning of effective staff development and in-service programs that improve teaching outcomes and student learning (e.g., methods, skills, commitment, etc.). *Collaborates with RCS Assessment Committee on student testing programs. Works with staff to ensure consistent standards for the accurate collection, recording, and verification of student data. Analyzes test results *Structure and facilitate development and implementation of budgets and funding opportunities dealing with textbooks, and instructional capital equipment. *Monitors education laws, rules, and regulations.
