Job Summary: Provides leadership in identifying, assessing, and managing technology needs for the school district as a member of the cabinet and in collaboration with other stakeholders. Directs, coordinates, supervises, facilitates and performs all tasks and elements needed to effect comprehensive integration of appropriate technology into every facet of operations. Contributes to the infusion of educational technology into classrooms and administrative offices by providing highly motivating and professional leadership in all areas of technology planning and technology resource management. Duties and Responsibilities:*Provides leadership in all aspects of technology for the school district. *Serves as a member of, and collaborates with, the Cabinet and Superintendent in the development, refinement and execution of the district strategic plan, involving all stakeholders. *Leads district initiatives, collaborating across departments and functional areas, to support adoption and implementation of technology in all aspects of school business, including those that improve teaching and learning. *Creates and supports cross-functional teams for needs assessment, decision-making, technology support, professional development and other aspects of the district technology program. *Supervises and supports a team of technology specialists to manage user accounts, end user hardware and enterprise information technology infrastructure including: data center, network and disaster recovery in a virtualized environment. to meet the goals of the strategic plan. *Provides a high level of customer service to district staff with the ability to problem solve situations and provide prompt incident resolution. *Facilitates the skill development of all employees in the operation of technology. Builds awareness among employees of available resources and the role of technology in the instructional process. *Develops and coordinates a broad range of technology-based resources, maximizing the availability and use of these resources. *Develops and administers the district technology budget and negotiates with vendors. *Performs other duties as assigned.

Drug Free Communities Grant Coordinator
An opening exists at the Onamia Public Schools for a full-time Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Grant Coordinator. This is a temporary, grant-funded position and is expected to be funded through June 30, 2020. Some overnight, evening, and weekend hours will be required. The DFC Grant Coordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring all grant activities according to the specifications of the Drug Free Communities Support Program and under the supervision of the Project Coordinator and Program Director. The grant coordinator will oversee the implementation of substance abuse prevention curricula in the secondary school, organize youth development and leadership activities, and coordinate the work of the Mille Lacs Area Partners for Prevention (MAPP) Coalition.
