Days/FTE:  1.0 FTE Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
Responsible To:  Building Principal; Special Education Director/Supervisor
Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota Work Experience Coordinator license and SpEd licensure
Major Job Functions; Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Ability and Skills: Educate and coordinate work experience opportunities for students receiving special education services.  Could consider a special education licensed candidate with high school experience in the process of pursuing a work experience coordinator license. – see job description

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Administrative Assistant – AESP – Class IIIB – Temporary Summer – Enrollment Center

Job summary: Provide secretarial/clerical support to the Enrollment Center during the Back to School Season (July 24th through September 6th).

Responsibilities and tasks include:
Greet and interact with a high volume of customers.
Provide secretarial support for the enrollment process.
Verify and process paperwork for the enrollment of students.
Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Input data into an Excel spreadsheet each morning

Minimum Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to help, serve, and exchange information.
General secretarial/clerical skills
General computer skills
Ability to learn and use data management systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with Enrollment Center staff and customers.

Preferred Qualifications include:
Previous Experience with Osseo Area Schools
Fluent in a foreign language (Spanish preferred)

Salary: View salary grid on Page 5, Section 1, and Classification, Pages 6 – 7, Section 3 of the Administrative Education Support Professionals (AESPs) contract
Job Type: Summer Casual; Temporary, (approximately July 24, 2023 through September 9, 2023)
Work Hours: 8 hours per day; 7:30 – 4:00 (approx.) M-F – 6 Weeks

PK-3 School Counselor
