Position is a full-time, part of the teacher bargaining unit and based at the High School and Mahtomedi Middle School. Salary and benefits part of Master Agreement
Minimum Requirements:
Must have appropriate ELL License with Secondary Education license or able to obtain the appropriate license from PELSB, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
Qualifications:
Experience working with secondary age students is preferred. Previous experience with ELL programming and instruction in a secondary setting preferred. Candidates must exhibit strong content knowledge, ability to collaborate with administration and staff to reach district and building goals, and the proven ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and staff. Commitment to work with students from diverse cultures and economic backgrounds.

Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our elementary school, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. This position commences with the 2023-24 School Year on August 21, 2023.
Fourth Grade Teacher 1.0 FTE
Essential Functions: A full-time (1.0 FTE) Fourth Grade Teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our elementary school, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. This position commences with the 2023-24 School Year on August 21,2023.

Mankato Area Public Schools has a full-time, (1.00 FTEs) position as a Chemical Health Counselor available beginning with the 2023-24 school year.
Job Summary:
Works with the building administration and the counseling office to meet the social, emotional, and behavioral health of students who demonstrate areas of need or exposure to chemical use or dependency. Through individual and group counseling services and outside services and supports, develops alternative solutions to support informed decision-making in order for student learning to continue in a safe educational environment.
Qualifications: BA or BS in related field
Completion of approved chemical dependency training program including LADC certification preferred
Valid Minnesota driver’s license
Prior experience preferred
