Position Summary:
This position will be part of the ALC Campus. Typical courses may include: Intermediate Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and other Math electives. Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with students, willing to learn and ask questions as needed, and a team player.

Qualifications:
Valid MN 9-12 Mathematics teaching license required or ability to obtain
Commitment to an equitable education experience for all.
Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.
Consistent and reliable attendance.

Rate of Pay:
Based on candidate’s experience and education per the OEA Master Agreement *pending contract negotiations

Second Grade Teacher for 2025-2026 School year

Essential Functions: A full-time (1.0 FTE) Second Grade Teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our elementary school, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience.  This will commence with the 2025-2026 school year.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Must have the ability to work as a team in planning and teaching with an emphasis on differentiating instruction and using assessments effectively. Must use the Responsive Classroom approach consistently by conducting regular class meetings, supportive exchanges and clear expectations. Collaboration with grade level team, special education team and specialists to develop a positive learning environment. Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents. Support and follow School Board policies and procedures. Be a positive and contributing member of our professional community.

Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. The school district currently serves approximately 3,700 students in Faribault and our surrounding areas within our community of 23,000 citizens within the city limits. Middle School Health Teacher

ECSE Special Education Teacher

Job Description:  Full-time (1.0 FTE) Early Childhood Special Education Teacher with Faribault Public Schools.  This position will work with children ages birth through 5; mainly supporting our home-based birth to 3 program. Faribault ECSE teachers conduct evaluations, develop IFSPs/IEPs, and provide evidence-based special education interventions. Our teams utilize the EQIP model within the birth to 3 programming.

This position commences at the start of the 2025-2026 school year. You will be supported by a team that includes speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, other ECSE teachers, early learning coordinator, and case facilitator.

Qualifications:   
Experience working with Early Childhood Special Education students and families in a variety of settings; knowledge of both typical and atypical child development; ability to administer and interpret evaluation and assessment procedures; experience with developing and implementing IFSPs and IEPs; knowledge of due process forms and procedures required; ability to work in a team with other staff and parents; must be able to direct the work of paraprofessionals; excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; travel within the community is a part of this position.  Preferred, but not required: ability to speak and understand Somali, Spanish, or American Sign Language. All candidates will be considered.
