Coordinator of Educational Equity and ML Programming

Position Summary: The Coordinator of Educational Equity and ML Programming provides leadership and advocacy for programs and services to support students and staff in the area of equity and ML Programming. This position will promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, embracing differences as a strategic opportunity towards leading the District’s efforts to build a culture of equality and embodiment for all students, families, employees, and the community.

Position Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Education
– Valid State of Minnesota EL Teaching License
– Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or a similar degree – preferred
– Valid Minnesota K-12 Administrative licensure or the ability to obtain – preferred
– Supervisory and Budgetary Experience – preferred
– A minimum of 5 years of EL teaching experience – preferred
– Demonstrated deep understanding of one’s own identity and the ability to effectively collaborate across differences.
– Demonstrated knowledge and application of theory related to the developmental process of building intercultural competence.
– Ability to engage in ongoing professional/personal development in order to develop self and to maintain a current knowledge base in the fields of education and equity.
– Excellent human relations skills and experience in working with diverse populations, community organizations, and other advocacy groups.
– Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of groups and individuals.
– Must be able to analyze and interpret data and manage resources.

Schedule: 230 days per year // 7:30 am – 4 pm

Rate of Pay: D-6-1 // $90,189 – $129,563 depending on experience, knowledge, and education.

Middle School Music/Band Teacher – 2026-2027 School Year

Worthington Middle School is in need of a new Band Teacher for grades 6-8. This position will be the band director for grades 6-8. Music is well supported in our schools as we also have two other band directors, two choir directors, and three orchestra directors. There are two hundred students in the middle school band program. Expectations include, teaching 3 bands, two jazz bands, small group lessons, and one marching band. Applicants must be patient and kind, licensed, or eligible for a license, to teach instrumental and classroom music in the state of Minnesota.

Middle School FACS Teacher – 2026-2027 School Year

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Teacher will  facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

The FACS Teacher will provide instruction in areas such as nutrition and wellness, food preparation, financial literacy, personal development, family relationships, consumer skills, and career exploration. The position emphasizes hands-on learning experiences that help students develop practical life skills, problem-solving abilities, and responsible decision-making.

Class II Paraprofessional 2025-2026 School Year

 Job Summary:

Under the direction of licensed special education teacher and/or related services staff, the Special Education Paraprofessional assists one or more students in accomplishing activities of daily living; instrumental activities of daily living, health related functions; redirection and intervention of behavior; and other tasks as are identified within assigned students’ IEPs. Special Education Paraprofessionals may be assigned to work with students who have special healthcare/medical needs, have behavior intervention plans or require other forms of specialized care.  Assists teachers by working with individual students or small groups, and performing related work as assigned.  Work is performed under the supervision of the Teacher and the general direction of the building Principal.

 

Job Qualification:

Must have a High School Diploma/GED and or College Degree. Or must be able to pass the ParaEducator Assessment upon hire.
