Position Dates: August 29, 2022 – November 28, 2022 (Dates are approximate)
FTE:  1.0 FTE
Banded/Graded:  C-5-2
Responsible To:  Building Principals; Special Education Director/Supervisor
Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Special Education K-12 in any disability area.
Major Job Functions; Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Ability and Skills:  This is a fulltime position in Special Education  see attachment

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Interview review process ongoing until filled

Background check will be conducted.

Qualification for Insurance: 40 hours per week for one semester or 100 continuous days (whichever is less) will qualify a teacher for insurance benefits

Class II Special Education Secretary (10 month)

Description:
Delano Public Schools is currently accepting online applications for the position of Activities Administrator to provide leadership for all co-curricular activities for students in Grades 7-12. Delano School District is located approximately 30 miles west of the Minneapolis Metropolitan Area on Highway 12 and encompasses the cities of Delano and Loretto and all or a portion of Corcoran, Independence, Medina, Maple Plain and Minnetrista. Delano Public Schools is an award winning district with educational excellence as our foremost goal. Delano has enjoyed a long tradition of excellent co-curricular activities that enhances the experience of our students outside the classroom. Upon the successful passage of a 65 million dollar bond referendum, the district invested in its outdoor spaces to include a newly designed track, two turf fields, a diving well added to our pool, and multiple locker rooms to facilitate activities, Phy-Ed and Community Ed. needs.

Position Summary:
The Activities Administrator coordinates a comprehensive activities program to include athletics, the arts, and academic team activities for students in grades 7-12. The Activities Administrator will provide leadership that will foster a positive learning environment that promotes academic excellence. In addition, the Activities Administrator will provide assistance to the high school administrative team in the operation of a comprehensive secondary school program.

 

 

 

Industrial Tech (carpentry)

(.5 FTE) Industrial Technology Teaching position is available beginning the 2022-23 school year at Forest Lake Area Senior High School.  Candidates must have the ability to teach general carpentry classes.  Must be licensed in Industrial Tech or have 5 years experience in a carpentry trade.  All experienced carpenters are encouraged to apply.
