Responsible To:  Personalized Learning Coordinator

Job Summary: Under the direction of the building principal and dean and in collaboration with district administration, the Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) – Behavior & Academic Supports will work to enhance intervention systems that promote student success. This role will provide direct support for behavior and academic interventions, coach educators, and ensure equitable access to resources that foster student engagement, learning, and well-being. The TOSA will play a key role in strengthening multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) within schools, addressing both behavioral and academic needs to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Education

Salary Range: $53,432 – $108,172 for a 184-day contract 1.0 FTE  (Salary will be prorated based on contract days in assignment and fte, education and experience) Salary and benefits pursuant to the Chaska Education Association (CEA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment: Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Position Overview
Reporting to the Superintendent, this role oversees financial planning, budgeting, compliance, reporting, and key operational departments. The Director ensures responsible use of district resources while supporting long-term financial and facilities planning.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Business Services

Lead development and monitoring of the district’s annual budget.
Oversee forecasting, expenditures, cash flow, and short-term investments.
Prepare levy analysis and recommendations for district leadership.
Support financial analysis for programs, negotiations, and capital planning.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Manage annual audits, insurance coverage, and election reporting.
Supervise Business Services, Buildings & Grounds, and Food & Nutrition Services.

Facilities & Operations

Oversee safe, efficient, and well-maintained school facilities.
Lead preventive maintenance, repairs, and major projects.
Conduct building inspections addressing custodial, security, and maintenance needs.
Manage environmental health and safety programs and chair the District Safety Committee.
Monitor facilities budgets and prioritize district-wide operational needs.
