POSITION: Full-time, year round District Office Administrative Assistant/MARSS Coordinator.
SUMMARY: To provide visitors and school staff with a welcoming, comfortable and efficient place in which to address questions, concerns and other needs that support the functioning of the school district. The District Office Administrative Assistant will perform all clerical and secretarial duties necessary to support the Superintendent of Schools, School District Finance Director and Board of Education. Responsible for processing free and reduced lunch applications and other district correspondence required by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) including, but not limited to, MARSS reporting.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools and Finance Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post High School Accounting/Administrative Assistant Degree Earned (2 year).
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of standard office equipment and machines.
- At least of two years experience working within a professional office setting.
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
- Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming office environment.
- Maintains professional dress and appearance.
- Organized and Detail Orientated.
- Working knowledge of Infinite Campus or similar student information system.
- Working knowledge of the Minnesota Department of Education Reporting Systems is preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
