Position: Meeker & Wright Special Education Cooperative is seeking a long term substitute school psychologist beginning approximately January 5, 2022 through March 15, 2022. This is roughly a 10-week assignment.

Background Information: This position serves Rockford school district as well as the programs at MAWSECO. Under the direction of the Executive Director and guidance of Special Education Coordinator(s), the School Psychologist is responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments and evaluations to determine special education eligibility. The School Psychologist collaborates with all key individuals to determine eligibility and level of service need.

This is a .75 to 1.0 FTE position at CE Jacobson Elementary, depending on interest, availability, and qualifications. This position is not renewable for the following year and has an end date of June 7, 2022. Candidates must have the ability to work with small groups of students to provide interventions in reading and math, leadership qualities to supervise an instructional assistant, experience in progress monitoring students weekly, knowledge to input data and create spreadsheets, etc. with the data, willingness to work with classroom teachers to integrate learning, ability to work with a team of Title I assistants, communication to provide input to the Problem Solving Team, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will provide interventions in the primary grades but may extend to grades K-6 in reading and math. This position is open until filled and applicants will be screened and interviewed as applications are received. Start date would be as soon as possible. Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Board Leadership

Position:

Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Board Leadership

Description:

The Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Board Leadership will work with the Director of Strategic Planning and Board Leadership to:

  • Facilitate the strategic planning process for school districts.
  • Facilitate the self-evaluation and assessment for school boards.
  • Help school districts in the areas of strategic planning, board leadership including board/superintendent relations, board self-evaluation and assessment, and other related programs and services.
  • Support services and programs in the areas of school board/superintendent relations and school board governance.
  • Present at conferences, workshops, and in-district meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation, project management, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms and survey software.
  • Experience in, or knowledge of, public education, strategic planning, and board governance is desirable.

Location and Hours:

This is a full-time position, which requires many evening and occasional weekend hours.  The work is conducted in-district, remotely, and in MSBA’s office located in St. Peter, MN.

Salary and Benefits:

$60,000 and up, dependent on qualifications, plus a generous benefits package.
