ECFE Children’s Teacher
Position is part-time, part of the teacher bargaining unit and based at District Education Center. Salary and benefits part of Master Agreement
Under the direction of the Early Childhood Coordinator, plan and implement lesson plans based on Early Childhood Indicators of Progress, integrating parent education and best practices in early childhood. Applicants must have a valid teaching license in Early Childhood Education and 2 or more years’ experience in an ECFE program. A dual license with Parent Education is preferred. Applicant must have working knowledge of Early Childhood Indicators of Progress Birth-5, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to work effectively with children and parents.
Educational Leadership Assistant Professor
The Department of Educational Leadership at Minnesota State University, Mankato invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses across all department programs (EdD, EdS, and MS) through the lens of racial equity and social justice. The successful candidate will provide students with advising throughout their programs, actively pursuing continued professional development, engage in scholarly activity that leads to publication and presentations, and provide service to the department, college, university, and community.
A typical faculty workload responsibility may include up to eighteen (18) credits of instruction per academic year.
The successful candidate may need to teach in other areas as assigned and qualified. May be expected to develop and deliver face-to-face, hybrid, and on-line instruction at the Mankato campus, online, and/or at the university’s additional locations, as assigned. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues in curriculum design, instruction and evaluation, conduct research productively and mentor students in research, help create innovative strategies for student recruitment, retention, and completion, and may be expected to develop external grant funding opportunities.
All faculty members are expected to engage in scholarly or creative activity or research, in continuing preparation and study, in contributing to student growth and development, and in providing service to the university and community (See Article 22 and Appendix G of the IFO Master Agreement)
The successful candidate will advise graduate students and doctoral candidates through coursework and research; facilitate dissertation, thesis and other culminating/capstone program projects.

Secondary Online Learning Teacher
General Definition of Work
The Secondary Online Learning Teacher will create a positive online classroom environment and instructional program fostering student success in accordance with Falcons Online Academy mission; preparing online lessons, instructing and accessing students through an online learning management system; performing all related reporting duties; and communicating with students, parents and other staff accordingly. During the implementation years of Falcons Online Academy, the secondary online teachers will serve as a facilitator to students and have access to a learning management system which houses all of the necessary course content while the in-house course content is being built. These positions may be instructing in an in-person or fully online mode, depending on student enrollment and programmatic needs. Position(s) will be located in a building with access to necessary resources to be part of a successful program.
Essential Functions:Develop course content, format, structure and schedule for class.
Plan, organize and implement classroom materials and curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans and activities, deliver instruction in both synchronous and asynchronous modes.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, mentorships, collaborative learning and demonstrations.
Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate student progress.
Communicate with students, family members, and colleagues concerning student academic and behavioral progress.
Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations in a timely and confidential manner.
Collect, analyze and maintain data on individual student achievement.
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with building and district staff.
Attend staff meetings, serve on committees, and attend workshops or in service professional development activities.
Special Education Paraprofessional – Developmental Cognitive Disability (DCD) – #4993 Spring Lake Park
This position is a Special Education Paraprofessional at Westwood Middle and Intermediate Schools, helping to support students with Developmental Cognitive Disorders in grades 5-8.
Primary Responsibilities:

under the supervision of a Special Education teacher, implementing behaviors plans customized and personalized for students to reinforce preferred behavior;
performing general data collection tasks for the purpose of progress monitoring student success;
having the ability and passion to work with students with emotional/behavior issues is essential;
working comfortably with students in individual, small group, and large group environments, in both general and special education settings;
working effectively with an interdisciplinary team, while having the ability to work independently;
working with school staff to provide behavior support to students in collaboration with teachers; and
participating in, and providing information for, team meetings related to student success and next actions.
