POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a new Program Administrative Associate to join our Minneapolis office – someone who is not only energetic and positive, but who also values our mission. This person is a critical member of the World Savvy program team providing broad administrative support on an array of projects. A great candidate is a self-starter who is detail oriented, organized, and able to anticipate the needs of those around them. Knowledge about educational environments is a plus. This is a great opportunity for a driven professional starting out their career or an experienced person looking to make a career change.

Reporting to the Director of Professional Learning, the Program Administrative Associate is responsible for supporting administrative duties, program logistics, and data management. Information on our program can be found here: https://www. worldsavvy.org/our-programs/. The position works in partnership with the entire World Savvy Program Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Logistics (40%)

  • Administrative coordination of logistics (food, venue, technology, and schedule coordination) for program events and gatherings, including workshops, festivals, etc.
  • Manage program registration and ongoing communication with program participants.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team to support the execution of program marketing and communications goals.
  • Support the planning of workshops through panel, speaker, and guest research and recruitment.

Marketing and Communications (25%)

  • Research new prospective partner educators and schools.
  • Disseminate program information to educators and networks of schools through multiple communications channels, including social media, phone, email, and mailings.
  • Research, price out, and order promotional items to give to partners in accordance with the budget and guidelines of the customer life cycle.

Data Management (15%)

  • Manage program-related educator and student data.
  • Collaborate with Operations team members on program and recruitment reporting.

Administrative Support (20%)

  • Provide calendar support for Chief Program Officer (CPO) and Director of Professional Learning.
  • Manage travel for the program team.
  • Manage data entry into Salesforce for the program team.
  • Monthly reconciliation of CPO and Director of Professional Learning credit card expenses.
  • Manage internal meeting and event planning to include in-person and remotely managed meetings.
  • Ensure administration supplies, technology, and food are available where appropriate.    Organize and maintain all program materials within the office.

Schedule: Full time, nights, and weekends as required by the program.

Salary range: $21.63 – $24.03/hour (non-exempt)

Projected Start Date: December 1, 2021

Location: Based in Minneapolis, MN

Travel Requirements: 15-20% local and regional school-based – minimal national travel expected. This position will need to independently get to offices and schools throughout the Seven County Metro Area and greater Minnesota; some locations may not be accessible by public transit.

Work Environment: World Savvy has two offices one in the Bay Area of California and our headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. World Savvy is a hybrid work environment and work location and requirements vary by role and task. This position will be able to work remotely and will have task responsibilities that will require in-person and in-office work.

1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood Teacher – Jefferson Elementary

Job Description: A 1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood teacher position for Falcon’s Nest Preschool, a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten site at Jefferson Elementary School.  Qualified candidates will offer a developmentally appropriate learning environment, with the focus on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development of students.  This teacher will also work with a classroom paraprofessional to create a warm welcoming environment for parents and children. The position is 5 days a week from 7:30AM-3:30PM. This position commences on January 3rd to approximately March 25th, 2022. Falcon’s Nest Preschool is a part of the Minnesota Centers of Excellence Pyramid Model Innovation Grant.  Applicants with knowledge and experience in a multi-tiered system of support for young learners are preferred.

Director of Finance

Job Description:    Faribault Public Schools is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time Director of Finance to begin November 2021.  The successful candidate for this cabinet-level position is responsible for the financial well-being of the school; preparing and enforcing an annual operating budget of over $50 million and ensuring that all regulations and procedures are followed, and may supervise all of the facility’s operations including food services, transportation and buildings and grounds; providing leadership for planning, development and evaluation of each area.  The Director provides robust support to various committees serving as either the chair or contributing member (Insurance, Wellness, Finance, Facilities, Health and Safety).

Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. The school district currently serves approximately 3,300 students in Faribault and our surrounding areas within our community of 23,000 citizens within the city limits. District sites include one early childhood center, three elementary schools K-5, one middle school 6-8, one high school 9-12, one area learning center 9-12 and one education center for adult learners.

The historic community of Faribault offers adventure, fun, unique dining, history, shopping and entertainment. Essential Functions:   Plans, supervises, directs and initiates recommendations to the Superintendent of Schools concerning all finance matters. Directs, organizes and participates in district accounting, negotiations and budget preparation and control; directs payroll operations, revenue recording and funds disbursement, and central receiving/supply offset. Reviews and communicates working capital investments, and cash flow information with the Superintendent of Schools and School Board. Oversees MARSS reporting and enrollment analysis and special education tuition billing and reporting.  Collaborates with all administrative departments to ensure robust inter-departmental communication, budgeting and protocols. Prepares statistical research for projects in short- and long-range planning and decision making. Prepares short and long term financial projections. Initiates and administers contracts between the District and vendors relating to, but not limited to, licenses, insurance, transportation and food services providers.

Behavior Support Specialist

The Shakopee School District is currently seeking a Behavior Support Specialist. This is a temporary position through the end of the school year.
8 hours/day on student days. Pay rate $24/hr.
Candidates who obtain a short call sub license will receive an additional $1/hr.

Job Summary:
Work with students, under the direction of certified staff, to manage behavior through interventions, positive behavior supports, and strategies as outlined in the IEP if applicable.

Qualifications:
