Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide instruction and support in the curriculum areas for which employed; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district, school and/or program for which employed; maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers of scholars, working with them in the development of their scholar; design, deliver, and assess curriculum according to district guidelines; and work collaboratively with others. Willing to participate in district and building leadership activities.

Provide instruction for up to 25 adult students in a HyFlex setting at the Northwest Family Service Center in Brooklyn Center.  Provide instruction in reading, writing math, social studies and science aligned to the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) and the Acedemic and Emloyability Skills Transitions Integration Framework (ACES/TIF).

Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree required
MN teaching license.
If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 license.*

Preferred qualifications include: Comfort and understanding in using technology to deliver HyFlex instruction
Experience with, or understanding of, working with adult students
Willingness to collaborate with peers to develop curriculum and lesson plans designed for adult students

Work schedule: Monday-Thursday morning from 8:00-2:00 AND Tuesday and Thursday evening from 4:30-9:00

Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists (SPCPA) is a public high school in the heart of downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. Students complete required academic credits and conservatory-style training in the arts provided by professional artists in preparation for college and conservatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the school’s mission, vision, and values and assist students as they advance as scholars and artists
  • Guide students and families in learning about and engaging in conservatory and college exploration, preparedness, four-year planning, and all aspects of the post-secondary application process; facilitate appropriate grade-level communications and activities in each area consistently throughout the school year
  • Direct communications and tasks for current, new and exchange students associated with course registration, scheduling and schedule changes, tracking progress toward meeting graduation requirements, PSEO enrollment, supplemental online learning options, and credit recovery
  • Work with teachers to support student success in the classroom; implement interventions, as needed
  • Monitor and maintain records regarding student attendance and communicate with students and families when there are concerns about attendance, implement attendance contracts and coordinate all truancy procedures based on the requirements of a student’s residence and in alignment with SPCPA’s attendance policies and procedures
  • Assist students and families in locating and connecting with various community resources
  • Implement interventions or strategies to assist students with behavior management and conflict resolution
  • Lead the administration of standardized assessments

Essential Functions:

The Administrative Assistant II, 8 hours per day, (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), five (5) days per week, 245 days per year at the Faribault Middle School.  Admin is responsible for providing positive student services support and to facilitate communications for an extensive Student Services Department.  To coordinate, manage, and implement student and staff services to the Faribault Public School District, #656.  Also, provide customer service for an extensive number of students, staff, parents, and the public.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive)

  •  Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students, staff, families, and community members
  • Work collaboratively with the Faribault Middle School staff, including administration, counseling, FACES, and other clerical staff
  • Record daily attendance via Infinite Campus and communicate with staff and families regarding student attendance
  • Assist families and administration with student enrollment, including: registration, withdrawals, homebound/shared student registration and monitoring, communicating with staff, and transcript/student records requests
  • Interact with families, staff, and community via phone, email, voicemail, and face-to-face interactions, assisting to direct information to appropriate parties
  • Monitor mainline voicemail and fax mailbox
  • Schedule and process building reservations in ELEYO system
  • Maintain files and records with confidential information, including creation and maintenance of cumulative folders and student database upkeep
  • Prepare written materials and reports including DIRS and MARSS reporting
  • Attend and assist with event planning for students, families, and staff (schedule distribution, open house, registration events, etc.)

Cultural Liaison School Year 2025-2026

Speech-Language Pathologist

Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred.
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA.
