C.E. Jacobson in Rush City (K-6) is looking for a 1.0 FTE music teacher to begin August 26, 2021. The candidate for this position will positively influence the K-6 student population in the area of music. The ability to build relationships with students, teach music skills, and create an enjoyable concert experience for all ages (and audience) is imperative. Experience working in a PBIS district, that uses daily learning targets, will be given strong consideration. The appropriate four-year degree with a license from the Minnesota Department of Education, which provides you the opportunity to teach K-6 music students is necessary. Teaching and Learning Coach
Purpose:
The Teaching and Learning Coach has both content and instructional expertise in curriculum design, instructional best practices, and the integration and use of technology in the classroom. The Teaching and Learning Coach must understand how to analyze data and use results for instructional improvement. The Teaching and Learning Coach will demonstrate leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with new and experienced staff.
Qualifications:
– MN valid teacher license certification
– Requires a Master’s Degree in Education
– Reading License preferred
– Five (5) years of successful teaching experience

1.0 FTE Physical Education Teacher
Job Description: One full-time (1.0FTE) Physical Education Teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. This position will commence with the 2021-2022 school year on August 23, 2021.
K-5 Owatonna Online Teacher
Position Summary:
Ensure high levels of student learning through engaging, high quality virtual teaching. Educator is innovative and serves as a facilitator to students’ learning. Educator will collaborate with colleagues, families, and all stakeholders to help design a K-5 virtual school. Educator is able to build strong partnerships with adults supporting student learning, and responsive to student needs academically, socially, and emotionally. Educator will be a learner, problem solver, and engage in on-site professional development.
Qualifications:
Valid K-5 MN Teaching license is required. An Ideal candidate will have a solid background in equity, technology, and ensuring all students learn at high levels. Experience in literacy and utilizing an integrated approach to instruction across all content areas and a background in STEAM and Everyday Math beneficial. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher
Position Summary:
Provide high quality instruction to identified students and serve as a collaborative member of our English Language Learner (EL) Team. Position follows a co-teaching model, with EL Teacher collaborating with general education classroom teacher, working in collaboration to meet students’ needs in the area of literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. This position may be working with secondary students as well.
Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Teaching License. Valid ELL/EL/ESL Minnesota Teaching License. Consistent and reliable attendance.
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Education, certificate and/or experience in the area of reading intervention education preferred, or related field and moderate experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Valid Minnesota Teaching License. Valid ELL/EL/ESL Minnesota Teaching License. Ideal candidate will have a strong equity background, believing and ensuring all kids learn at high levels. A strong demonstrated use of 21st Century learning strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. A strong background in literacy and language is preferred with in depth understanding and application of language acquisition and WIDA Standards.
