Supervisor of Student Records and Transportation

1.  Provide direction and supervision of the District’s student accounting system, Census, and Minnesota Automated Reporting Student System (MARSS).
2.  Oversee the District’s open enrollment program, including the review of student applications and tuition transfer agreements.
3.  Oversee non-public and home school programs to ensure state and local reporting requirements are met, including reporting record maintenance and funding, textbooks, guidance services, health services, assessment and report cards.
4.  Direct systems for saving, storing, maintaining and retrieving student records.
5.  Provide direction and supervision for the daily transportation of resident public, nonpublic, and special education students in the District, including overseeing all bus routing and scheduling.
6.  Serve as the primary District contact for bus companies, including administering and negotiating bussing contracts.
7.  Work with building principals and bus company representatives to resolve any student behavior or transportation safety issues.
8.  Serve as a member of the District’s administrative team and actively participate in the development, implementation, and achievement of the District’s goals.
9.  Implement state and federal regulations and School Board policies related to transportation and student accounting.
10.  Oversee the department budget and approve the requisitions for supplies, equipment and materials necessary for the operation of the department.

Science Teacher, HS Biology

High School Counselor

Days/Hours:  1.0 FTE Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
Responsible To:  Building Principal

Position Purpose:  This position would work with 9-12 grade students that are in need of academic, social and emotional support. The position will include: facilitate support groups, study strategies, time management/organization, new student group, and implement interventions for struggling students. Position would coordinate academic interventions between teachers and students. Counselor must exhibit ability to manage and track multiple students’ academic progress and needs, act as a liaison between EL department, teachers, Deans, and School Counselors. This position will require attention to detail, knowledge of googledocs, and the ability to collaborate with multiple staff in the building.

Licensure Requirements:  Valid State of Minnesota Teaching License – Secondary School Counselor
