Responsibilities:
- Plan and implements individualized instruction designed to meet the educational needs of children on IEPs
- Creates a learning environment conducive to the learning needs of children with disabilities
- Encourages student success by collaborating with classroom teachers and assisting with accommodations and modifications when appropriate
- Employs a variety of instructional techniques embedding technology when appropriate
- Conducts and carries out educational assessments
- Maintains accurate and complete records as required by law and district procedures
