Mankato Area Public Schools has a position available for an Early Learning Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-affiliated position with Category II benefits.  Please see the complete job description attached.

Start Date: July 1, 2018

Summary of Duties: The Coordinator of Early Learning is responsible for developing, managing, implementing and coordinating a district-wide program of early childhood services and activities for families with children birth-5 years of age.

Required Qualifications:
Parent Education or Early Childhood Teaching License in Minnesota (or ability to complete)
Special Education  Minnesota Teaching License (or ability to complete)
School Administration Minnesota License

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in supervision and development of teachers and staff
Experience in early childhood practices and leadership
Knowledge of  relevant statutes, rules and policies

Middle School Math Teacher (0.85 FTE) (Temporary)

MSBA is seeking a person to fill the position of Associate Director of Board Development beginning July 9, 2018. This individual will work with Association staff and members.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with Association services and programs in the areas including, but not limited to, school board governance and leadership, school board/employee relations, and strategic planning.
  • Provide daily support to membership in the areas including, but not limited to, school board governance and leadership, school board/employee relations, and strategic planning.
  • Present at Association seminars and training programs and conduct in-district in-services.

Level One IT Support

MSBA is located approximately 60 miles south of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 10 miles north of Mankato in the scenic Minnesota River Valley.

MSBA is seeking a person to fill the position of Level One IT Support beginning July 9, 2018. This individual will work with Association staff and members.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Act as initial contact for end-users’ technical support required for desktop and mobile hardware/software, network systems, telephone, and printing.
  • Administer and support a primarily Microsoft Windows-based local area network (LAN).
  • Develop and conduct technology-related training and instruction; assist end-users in maximizing use of Association technology resources.

Notify maintenance vendors of hardware/software issues or when hardware/software needs to be upgraded; maintain maintenance/upgrade records.
