Foley High School is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE FACS Teacher beginning with the 2018-19 school year. Courses will include a variety and breadth of areas within FACS. The successful candidate will have a high level of autonomy in setting direction for students in Family and Consumer Science.

Successful candidates for this position will:
enjoy working in a team environment;
have experience working with students, particularly at the high school level;
possess a high level of writing, speaking, and listening skills;
possess a valid MN teaching license or demonstrate the ability to obtain such.

Preference will be given to candidates with an endorsement for Work Based Learning. Coaching and/or Advisor positions are available but are not a requirement for this position. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the Master Agreement between Foley Public Schools and Foley United Educators.

Title 1-Intervention teacher

Foley Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a .full time Academic Intervention Teaching position for the fall of 2018-19 school year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide intervention instruction to students who are not meeting grade level expectations. Responsibilities include creating a positive and supportive classroom climate while engaging in a variety of instructional techniques
Work as a team member in writing academic intervention plans
Have experience with differentiated instruction, balanced literacy and guided reading
Serve as a member of the Problem Solving Team in planning, developing and implementing academic intervention programs including strategies
Assess student’s area of need and determine appropriate intervention tools
Develop and maintain benchmark and progress monitoring data on K-3 students
Other duties as determined

Qualifications:
MN license elementary teaching license – preference given to candidates with additional reading coursework and/or licensure.
