Coordinator – Testing, Assessment and Accountability
POSITION DESCRIPTION: To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by supporting decision-making across the district, from teachers to the School Board, by collecting, managing, and reporting data and enhancing the process by which we communicate student outcomes. The Coordinator position is pivotal in managing the data collection process, managing the data system, and producing custom reports. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Implement and manage the collection, computer analysis, and reporting of assessment data in support of statewide accountability programs and district program improvement. Illustrated Duties: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following fundamental job duties: A. Manage the testing programs required in support of state accountability legislation. Responsible for the acquisition, distribution, tracking, security, and arranging for test scoring and distribution of reports of high-stakes testing materials. B. Manage district-wide standardized testing, NWEA level testing, and MCA, ACT, CogAT and WIDA testing. Supervise or conduct activities associated with the acquisition of materials, production of materials, distribution of tests, collection and management of results, computer analysis, and preparing communication of and distribution of results in tabular and graphic formats. C. Collaborate with cross-department colleagues to facilitate test administration trainings for school assessment coordinators and create support systems to ensure successful, accurate, and secure testing environments. D. Assist in long-range departmental goal-setting, in establishing an annual budget, and in operational planning that results in the development of a coordinated yearlong schedule of testing events and activities. E. Demonstrate cultural responsiveness and support department work for racial equity. F. Evaluate, oversee, installation and maintenance of hardware and software needed to meet departmental and district goals involving standardized test scoring, NWEA and CogAT scoring, and statistical analysis. Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional – Part Time
Position Summary: The paraprofessional will be assisting a licensed Early Childhood Special Education teacher during the AM preschool session at Kid’s Korner Educare. The Special Education Paraprofessional assists the classroom teacher with performing duties necessary to meet the educational, personal, physical, and behavioral needs of an individual or group of special education students. The Special Education Paraprofessional’s primary focus is on directly serving students or in preparation for meeting the student’s needs.
