JOB SUMMARY: Ensure timely and accurate maintenance, support, and related work to manage an effective central student information system while also supporting Teaching & Learning leaders with intermediate office support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 72% Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Assist with evolution and utilization of the centralized SIS system, inclusive of best practices in order to efficiently and accurately support administrative and academic processes. Support district user work groups with the use of SIS and help set priorities for the system(s) to be clear and concise. Ensure sensitive data is managed with accuracy and security. Further develop and evolve existing information system modules to support operating procedures. Provide training and on-going support to ensure understanding of system use, programs, and procedures for data maintenance and security. Build and maintain positive relationship with system vendor, support staff, and other personnel in troubleshooting, improving or correcting issues. Generate and maintain all SIS user accounts and security groups for the district, including employee access and credentials. Monitor and schedule SIS updates as appropriate. Ensure the information imported and exported out of the school administration software is accurate and adheres to data privacy policies, include of consistent practices in a timely manner. Collaborate with District Technician and/or Data Coordinator for data extracts, queries, or reports as appropriately requested. Collaborate with school staff to complete and submit required reporting to administrators, district leaders, outside agencies, and state. Assist SIS users with utilizing the Office Visitor Management system as appropriate, and work collaboratively with the technology department and Human Resources on interconnectivity between data systems. Serve as central student enrollment processor/support when needed. 25% Teaching and Learning Department Administrative Support Create, review, and edit Teaching and Learning documents as requested. An Early Childhood teacher position is open at Faribault Education Center (FEC) for new preschool programming to being this fall. Some travel will be required between the FEC and McKinley Early Childhood Center. Assessment Coordinator
Essential Functions: The Assessment Coordinator serves as a key part of all schools providing support in the areas of data, assessments and integrating technology into all aspects of the curriculum, as well as supporting all staff in the day-to-day operations of the assessments necessary by working collaboratively with teachers and administrative staff for planning, co-teaching and modeling strategies to effectively meet the needs of the schools. This position reports directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning. Position will assist with the following duties: – Analyze and report results of assessments to stakeholder groups; interpret results of test scores; maintain calendar of assessment activities; organize the receipt, distribution, collections, and mailing of testing materials; provide training for testing administration as needed; generate graphic visualization of data in efforts to assist school leadership in making meaningful and actionable decisions.
