Social Studies Teacher

Foley Public Schools is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Social Studies Teacher for the 2017-18 school year. Courses taught will be primarily United States History, but may include other courses within the department. Successful candidates for this position will: enjoy working in a team environment; have experience working with students, particularly at the high school level; possess a high level of writing, speaking, listening and conflict resolution skills; possess a valid MN teaching license or demonstrate the ability to obtain such. Preference will be given to candidates qualified and willing to teach Concurrent Enrollment Political Science currently partnered with St. Cloud State University. Coaching and/or Advisor positions are also available but are not a requirement for this position. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the Master Agreement between Foley Public Schools and Foley United Educators.
