The MN Department of Corrections has an opening for a Substitute Teacher (Special Teacher – Intermittent) at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Red Wing. This position will be on-call Monday through Friday, 7:15 am – 3:45 pm. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Develop an effective instructional sequence. -Create and implement a physical and interpersonal classroom environment that supports student learning within a correctional setting. -Engage students in learning and use instructional strategies that help students understand content. -Participate in on-going professional development activities and collaborate with colleagues to advance learning for teachers and students.
