New Heights School of Stillwater is seeking a Full-time licensed special education teacher (SLD; EBD; or ABS) primarily to work with students in grades 6-12 in a resource room setting for the 2018-19 school year. The SPED case managers are responsible for all aspects of due process for IEP students; assisting students in working toward IEP goals; conducting necessary and timely IEP meetings; maintaining accurate records; collaborating with staff members of the school to ensure appropriate progress is made by IEP students; and for ensuring that general education teachers are making appropriate modifications and accommodations called for in IEPs.
