Job Title: Early Education & ECFE Teacher
Location: ISD 361 – International Falls, Minnesota
Position Type: Full-Time
Start Date: 25/26 School Year

Position Overview:
Independent School District 361 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Education and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Teacher to join our team. This full-time position is designed for an educator who is enthusiastic about nurturing the growth and development of 3-year-old children and supporting parents and families through engaging, developmentally appropriate educational experiences.

Responsibilities:

●     Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for 3-year-old early learners that supports cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development

●     Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

●     Create a safe and stimulating environment in a well-organized, age-appropriate classroom

●     Strong home, school and community communication and interaction

●     Use creative teaching methods and employ storytelling artistic expression, play-based learning and other hands-on activities

●     Collaborate with families and caregivers through ECFE programming and home visits to support early learning and strengthen parent-child relationships

●     Conduct developmental assessments and provide feedback to families

●     Coordinate and collaborate with dynamic early childhood educators and support staff

●     Plan, facilitate and attend ECFE events and programming

●     Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and district initiatives

●     Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district and state guidelines

●     Promote positive behaviors and positive school attendance

●     Ability to observe, implement and document appropriate interventions and record keeping

●     Flexibility in schedule for evening ECFE classes and events.

Qualifications:

●     Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Birth to 3 Licensure; Parent and Family Education License

●     Valid Minnesota teaching license for Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 3 or Pre-Kindergarten)

●     Experience working with young children and families in an educational setting

●     Strong interpersonal and communication skills

●     Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices

Preferred Qualifications:

●     Experience with ECFE programming

●     Knowledge of Minnesota’s Early Learning Standards and assessment tools

●     Experience in MTSS, PBIS, Pyramid Model, Restorative Practices and Social-Emotional Learning

The Richfield Public School District is now accepting applications for a part-time (.5 FTE) Student and Family Support Specialist at Sheridan Hills Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is a licensed position (teaching or social work) designed to increase student engagement and success by implementing school-wide social-emotional learning (SEL) and behavior interventions and supports. This role collaborates closely with families, staff, and community agencies to address behavioral, emotional, academic, and attendance needs-particularly for students requiring Tier 2–3 interventions or facing challenges like homelessness. DCD Licensed Special Education Teacher

Hiawatha Employment LogisticsHiawatha Collegiate High School students’ school day is from 8:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday.  Staff hours are 8:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Professional development sessions are held each Friday from 2:15 p.m.  – 4:15 p.m.
All Hiawatha staff are expected to attend and participate in relevant evening family events to be held at the school.

Class I Paraprofessional 2025-2026 School Year
