We currently have a full-time position to fill for the 2022-2023 school year. This position is working with students in 7th-12th grade at our High School.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with unique needs, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. Provide instruction to assigned students implementing IEP’s (Individual Educational Plans), and prepare academic materials for students following approved curriculum. Write IEP’s and Due Process Reports in accordance with MDE regulations. Identify the needs of assigned students with disabilities through formal and informal assessments. Communicate with students, parents and staff on a regular basis on student progress. Attend department, school, and parent meetings. Other job-related duties as assigned.

6th Grade Teacher – Focus in Math

C.E. Jacobson Elementary (PK-6) is looking for a full-time 6th Grade Teacher with a focus in math for the 2022-2023 school year.  Our fifth and sixth grade students function in a middle-school-style model and this teacher will spend 85% of their time teaching a specific content area as well as general instructional support for all content areas.

C.E. Jacobson Elementary School is a system of approximately 500 PK-6th grade students that sustains a focus on individualized instruction, PBIS, MTSS, and growth mindset. The ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and the community will be imperative. The appropriate four-year degree with a license from the Minnesota Department of Education, which provides you the opportunity to teach 6th grade students, is necessary. Hours will be typical school days, aligned with the Teachers Master Contract. Salary is based upon experience/qualifications. This position is open until filled.

Coordinator of Educational Equity and EL Programming

The Coordinator of Educational Equity and EL Programming  provides leadership and advocacy for programs and services to support students and staff in the area of equity and EL Programming. Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in education.  Valid State of Minnesota EL Teaching License.

Preferred Experience:
Masters Degree in Educational Leadership or like degree.
Valid Minnesota K-12 Administrative licensure or the ability to obtain.
Supervisory and Budgetary Experience.
A minimum of 5 years of EL teaching experience.

Lead Administrative Assistant- Special Education Finance
12-month position 251 work days with 10 holidays
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Start Date: June, 2022 or earlier

Job Responsibilities:
• SEDRA- enter, maintain and update federal and state special ed expenditures and ADSIS
• SERVS- apply for grants, manage applications and budgets, manage allocations
• Tuition Billing- manage, maintain and update tuition billing database for all open enrolled special ed students for district, as well as for all general ed and special ed enrollments for Pines School
• Pines- tuition billing, investigate and determine resident districts of Pines students, determine annual per diem rates, invoice resident school districts for general ed, calculate and submit Pines tuition billing appeal form to MDE, update and manage Pines student enrollments in Campus
• Respond to requests and inquiries on tuition billing from other districts
• MARSS- work with coordinator on correct reporting of special education enrollments Early Childhood to Age 21, Pines enrollments, special ed services hours and third party billing
• Assist with annual department special education staffing study for determining
budget recommendations and staffing changes
• ADSIS/CERF- work with Teaching and Learning Director to ensure grant application and budget are submitted and that staff are coded correctly and entered into SEDRA for reimbursement
• Special Education Staff Coding- work with finance department and Human Resources to ensure correct coding of special education staff
• PARS/Time and Effort- maintain, update and prepare PARS for correct coding and reporting for all special education staff for MDE fiscal audit
• Complete and submit MDE special education applications for reimbursement on special pupils, court placements for both MN and Non-MN residents and Wards of the State
• Manage One to One Paraprofessional Services for in district and open enrolled students
• Maintain Transition Disabled Programs through MDE for Career and Tech Students at 916
• Special Pupils with and without IEP’s
• Monitor our Maintenance of Effort
• Monitor MDE for updates on fiscal updates, MARSS changes, MOE, tuition updates, care and treatment reporting, special education
• Assist the Director of Student Services with misc. tasks, projects, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Post high school training required with business and finance experience preferred.
• Successful experience in an office setting required.
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all school dealings.
• Proven success in keyboarding and computer software required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work as a positive contributing member of an office team.
• Proven, successful experience working with minimal supervision accompanied by successful problem-solving skills.

WAGES/BENEFITS:
As per the current Administrative Assistant/Clerical master agreement. Paid benefit package.
